CEO of American Airlines,
As a father of young travelers, and a previous user of American, I wish to see to it that a letter of appreciation gets to a few folks, as well as your attention. This regards a travel on 4/23/02.
Scott and Cyndee Early with infant son, were on a flight from Columbus OH to San Diego CA via St.Louis.
Upon arrival in San Diego, 2 of the 3 luggage items were here and 1 was not. The staff in San diego at around 8:15p were very apologetic and very helpful.
They informed us that another flight was due in from St. Louis after 11:00p , and the bag should most probably be there, and that we could call an 800 number to check on the status. We then left for thier home up in Oceanside.
At around 12:45a, we were still up, and the doorbell
rang, and a very nice lady was standing there with the piece of missing luggage. Now this was no easy feat since the kids live aboard the Marine Corps Base at Camp Pend;eton.
