Non-secure Web site for financial data
I have tried twice - last month and then today - to change my address using the on-line Profile Edit screen at http://www.alltel.com/myprepaid/index.html
It seems that in order to update my address that Alltel also requires me to enter a charge card number and expiration date - and to do so on an unsecure Web page - i.e., without any encryption.
I would suggest someone from your IT Department examine this Web page and 1) actually allow a person to update their Profile w/o needing to enter a charge card number, and 2) make all pages requiring a charge card number 'secure' prior to transmitting this information. All financial data should always be encrypted before sending it over the Web. I can not (will not) update my dollar amount or minutes as your present Web site is unsecure (why have this on-line feature to update dollars or minutes when you do not offer a secure method of transmitting this information?).
